back-up for that period. Scouts
should take a minimum of 5 classes and should also give themselves 1 free

*Soil & Water Conservation
Rifle Shooting partial (.22) - take this one if you have a partial from last
year.
Snorkeling - NOT A MERIT BADGE
Nature
*Camping - NOT RECOMMENDED.Requires 20 nights of camping in a tent.Mr. Buchanan
teaches this MB.
Fishing - Mr. Lukehart can teach this MB, but it gives Scouts something fun to
do at camp.
Pioneering
Safe Swim Defense - NOT A MERIT BADGE. Okay for Leaders too.
Safety Afloat - NOT A MERIT BADGE. Okay for Leaders too.
Period 2

*Hiking - Scouts will NOT be able to complete this MB at camp.
Requires multiple Hikes of 10+ miles. Taught by Mr. Buchanan.

clear skies for the evening portion.
