Troop 536 Summer Camp

The Troop has elected to attend Boy Scout Camp at Elk Lick Scout Reserve July 22-July 27, 2007.

Cost: $200.00*

*$5.00 off per Scout for rechartering on time - QUALIFIED.

*$15.00 off per Scout if 50% or more of registered Scouts attend Summer Camp -Unknown.

*$10.00 off per Scout if Camp is paid for by June 1st, Unknown

$170.00

Individual boys may attend a second week of camp for $110.00 as a PROVISIONAL Scout.

Boys and Adults under age 40 need a Class 1 & Class 2 medical form and a medical exam completed within the past 36 months.

Adults over age 40 need a Class 3 medical form and a medical exam completed within the past 12 months.

Scoutmaster Notes:

1. Post Duty Roster: Latrine Duty, Waiter Duty, Water Cooler, specific camp chores.

2. Fill out camp-provided Fire Guard chart and post.

3. Post camp-provided inspection sheet.

4. Make sure boys are aware of MBs that are taught by Troop Leaders and encourage them not to take those at camp.

5. Give the boys expectations: a) they are responsible for getting to classes, failure to do so will likely result in those merit badges being incomplete. b) pre-requisites must be completed BEFORE signing up for those merit badges requiring them! c) tents and duffels neat. d) ALL Scouts participate in cleaning camp. e) ALL Scouts must swim or shower at 7:00 am.
