Rules
Active Participation:
Scouting and advancement in rank require ACTIVE participation in the Troop.
Our definition of Active Participation is that a minimum of 50% of meetings are
attended each month and that the Scout take an active interest in the
Troop/Patrol. In other words, he doesn't just come to the meeting and sit there.
Knives: To carry a knife, a
Scout MUST have his Totin' Chip with him. Should a Scout handle a knife in
an unsafe manner, a corner of the Chip will be torn off by a member of the
Patrol or Troop Leadership. Should all 4 corners be torn off, the Scout
will be required to earn a new Totin' Chip.
Adult Leadership: One BSA
registered adult and one other adult must be present on all outings.
Parents, this is where you can help out from time to time without
over-committing yourself.

boy-led troop.
Assistant Scoutmasters (ASM):
Adults that fill in for the SM when he/she is not available.

the Troop meetings.
